The Industry and Commerce Ministry has issued a strong reminder to all commercial establishments in Bahrain to ensure they comply with Resolution No. (43) of 2024 regarding payments for commercial transactions.
With the deadline of June 13, 2025, fast approaching, businesses are urged to take immediate action to avoid penalties.
The ministry stressed the importance of opening a dedicated commercial bank account and activating electronic payment methods, including e-payment systems, point-of-sale (POS) devices, and electronic gateways. These measures are designed to streamline financial operations and enhance transparency within commercial transactions.
The Industry and Commerce Ministry is calling on all businesses to take the necessary steps to meet the compliance requirements before the deadline.
For detailed information and guidance, businesses are encouraged to visit the ministry’s official website at https://www.sijilat.bh or contact their dedicated hotline on 80008001.
