Daughter of the late president of Iran, Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani, has said that Iran should establish relations with the US and the two countries reopen embassies.
Ham Mihan Online quoted her saying “Our own methods led us to this situation. The sanctions began with the attack on the US embassy. We should not let such policies continue, as they will lead to the imposition of UN sanctions that will be worse than the US and European sanctions.”
She criticised Iranian President Pezzekian for saying that Iran was willing to pay any price, but it won’t budge: Mr Pezzekian, you don’t pay, it is the people of Iran who will pay.
