An all-new Bahraini Village experience of the kingdom’s rich culture and heritage will be unveiled as part of two new additions to a series of off-track entertainment aimed at enthralling visitors to Bahrain International Circuit over the coming F1 race weekend, from April 11 to 13.
Enthusiasts can enjoy various traditional activities such as dhow designing, henna artistry, as well as mat, oyster-net and pottery making.
Food vendors, including popular restaurant Villa Mamas, will be offering the very best of Bahraini cuisine. Traditional cooking stalls, a sherbet stand and local favourites from Showaiter will also be available.
The ‘Village’ will be open from 9am to 10pm on each day located near Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC). The entrance will be from the gate by The Dome tent that leads to the BIKC car park.
The ‘Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ is also bringing one of the world’s top circus acts to Sakhir for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025.
Circus Cortex, known for their innovative and high-energy shows, will dazzle audiences with jaw-dropping performances suitable for all ages. “Get ready for gravity-defying stunts like acrobatics and captivating story-telling throughout the three-day event,” the organisers said.
This year’s race celebrates the 75th anniversary of both Formula 1 and Bahrain’s national carrier and grand prix title sponsor Gulf Air.
As excitement continues to grow over this coming weekend’s Formula One extravaganza just a few corporate seats are available to catch the action live.
While the grandstand is completely sold out, including seats at the Main, Turn 1, Beyon, University and Victory grandstands, as well as the Paddock Club, Corporate Lounges and Champions Club, The Dome by F1 Experiences is still available with limited seats up for grabs.
It features a dedicated grandstand located along the Main Straight with comfortable, ‘seat-back style’ seating. Fans can enjoy exceptional views of the Podium and pit entry and also see the cars as they navigate the final turn before accelerating down the track.
The package also includes complimentary lunch dishes, light bites, refreshments and performances by DJs, roaming entertainers and more between track sessions.
Live concerts during the race weekend include a performance by multi-platinum DJ and producer Fadil El Ghoul, better known as R3HAB, on April 11; a show by international dance music superstar Peggy Gou on April 12, and a high-octane act by Grammy-nominated artist, DJ and producer Axwell on April 13, bringing the curtain down on the grand prix weekend.
The fan-favourite Ferris Wheel is back this year, and a Kids Race Festival, featuring popular characters such as Ben10, the Power Puff Girls, Sonic the Hedgehog, Popeye, and more will be on hand, in addition to other spectacular shows.
A special charity auction aiming to raise money for the Royal Humanitarian Foundation is now live and will continue until April 13. The BIC, with the generosity of many of the F1 teams, has curated a selection of unique F1 memorabilia along with donations from Gulf Air. The auction can be accessed via mazad.app under the ‘BIC Memorabilia’ category.
The Beyon Money BIC Fan Village is open daily, from 1pm to midnight on weekends and from 6pm to midnight on other days, at Block 338 in Adliya until Wednesday. Entertainment includes daily live performances from a mix of bands and DJs, motorsport activations such as racing simulators and a giant Scalextric, an F1 show car, reaction games, Beyon Money activations, a photo booth, a craft village, roaming family entertainment, street artists, various kids’ attractions, and more.
