A call for an irregular extraordinary Parliament session on Gaza has been made by a group of MPs.
An urgent request has been submitted electronically to National Assembly and Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam, who is currently attending the 150th Inter-Parliamentary Union General Assembly Meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The request is spearheaded by MP Hamad Al Doy.
However, if approved it is unclear if it would replace the regular session on Tuesday or scheduled for another day during the week.
