His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has praised the professionalism and dedication of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) personnel.
The King was briefed on its development plans when he visited the BDF General Command yesterday.
Upon arrival, he was received by Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
His Majesty was accompanied by National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Also present to receive the King were BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior officers.
His Majesty expressed appreciation for the dedication of BDF personnel, commending their unwavering commitment to fulfilling their national duties with honour and integrity in service of the kingdom’s security and prosperity.
He also praised the achievements of the BDF’s military manufacturing sector and its progress in advancing national capabilities through skilled personnel and modern technologies.
His Majesty instructed senior officers to convey his greetings and appreciation to all BDF personnel serving in the kingdom and abroad.
