The eighth edition of the Bahrain Smart Cities Summit 2025 will begin on Tuesday under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
The two-day summit will take place at the Sheraton Hotel on April 15 and 16.
Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak emphasised the importance of the summit as one of the kingdom’s key specialised events, drawing wide local and international participation.
The event aims to leverage global expertise and integrate it with Bahrain’s leading local experiences in smart urban development, the minister added.
He noted that the summit’s panel sessions will explore successful international models and their applicability to sustainable smart cities and artificial intelligence.
He described the summit as a regional platform combining a high-level conference, an interactive technology exhibition, and an awards ceremony recognising outstanding achievements in urban innovation and sustainability.
