His Majesty King Hamad has commended the Royal Bahraini Air Force’s (RBAF) excellent level of combat preparedness and skills, and expressed appreciation for their dedication and professionalism.
The royal praise came as His Majesty, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the RBAF yesterday.
Upon arrival, he was received by Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. He was accompanied by National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Majesty inspected a number of newly-inducted fighter jets, among the most advanced globally, reflecting the ongoing enhancement of BDF’s various units and capabilities.
RBAF Commander Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa briefed His Majesty about ongoing plans to further modernise the force with cutting-edge systems.
The King commended the RBAF members’ joint efforts with those of their fellow BDF units in carrying out their national duty to steadfastly defend the kingdom, its progress, and the security of its people.
He also acknowledged the role of Bahraini women in the military and their contributions to national advancement across all sectors.
His Majesty directed senior RBAF officers to convey his greetings and appreciation to all officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel across all duty stations, wishing them continued success.
Also in attendance were Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and senior officers.
