Bahrain-owned McLaren maintained their blistering pace in Sakhir today by topping Formula One’s third practice timesheet in the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2025 at Bahrain International Circuit.
After setting the pace in practice two on Friday, Oscar Piastri did the same in today’s session after posting a best lap time of one minute 31.646 seconds. He was quicker than teammate Lando Norris by 0.668 seconds, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was classified behind them 0.834s adrift.
The Mercedes tandem of George Russell (+1.181s) and Kimi Antonelli (+1.270s) completed the top five.
The F1 field will now head to qualifying this evening at 7pm, to set the starting grid for tomorrow’s 57-lap night race.
