The Capital Police Directorate, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Ports Security, arrested a 40-year-old foreigner for allegedly stealing an expensive watch worth BD 14,000 from a locker at a health club.
The directorate stated that the arrest happened in less than four hours after receiving a report about the theft.
A prompt investigation was launched to gather evidence, which led to the identification and arrest of the suspect while he was attempting to leave the kingdom through Bahrain International Airport.
The Capital Police Directorate confirmed that all necessary legal procedures were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
