National workforce is the cornerstone of the success of government programmes, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has said.
He noted that dedication and commitment are key to achieving goals and realising accomplishments when he separately met human resources and financial directors from government entities as well as national affiliates from the ministry who were involved in several strategic projects, including preparing the draft law approving the state general budget for the fiscal years 2025-2026.
The minister highlighted the contribution of Bahraini citizens to the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister emphasised the importance of continued co-ordination with all ministries and government bodies, and adherence to approved financial systems to support their development and ensure the effective implementation of financial policies.
He commended the efforts of the government teams from various entities in preparing the budget, highlighting their commitment to developing a transparent and realistic budget grounded in international best practices.
