Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday met National Audit Office (NAO) president Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Under-Secretary and internal audit oversight committee chairman Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa was present.
The minister commended the role of NAO in promoting the principles of transparency and integrity, which support the foundations of a state based on institutions and the rule of law, and help ensure optimal use of resources.
