The High Administrative Court has issued a ruling in favour of the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, requiring a water desalination company to pay the groundwater consumption bills for the year 2024.
The ministry emphasised the importance of regulating the use of groundwater resources and ensuring that consumers fulfill their payment obligations. “This is a fundamental part of the shared responsibility to preserve these vital resources for current and future generations, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations,” the ministry stated.
