A condolence meeting has been organised by the Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) on Thursday at its premises in Segaiya in memory of Pope Francis.
“Pope Francis was a symbol of peace, compassion and love and served as a great inspiration to humanity,” the KCA said in a statement yesterday.
“His life was a beacon of hope not only for the global Catholic community but also for countless individuals of all faiths who admired his tireless efforts toward humanitarian causes, environmental protection, interfaith dialogue and advocacy for the marginalised.”
The meeting will start at 8pm.
