Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau on the sidelines of the 2025 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) in Washington, DC
The meeting was attended by Bahrain’s Ambassador to the US Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
The minister emphasised the deep-rooted historical relations and strong strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, noting the continuous progress across various fields. He underscored the mutual commitment to further advancing ties to broader levels that meet shared aspirations and interests.
He reviewed the distinguished relations, highlighting the advanced levels of co-operation, particularly in the financial and economic sectors, which contribute to achieving common goals and fostering prosperity for both countries.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance co-operation and co-ordination, as well as topics of common interest related to financial and economic affairs.
