Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met US Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Michael Faulkender on the sidelines of the 2025 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) in Washington, DC.
The meeting was attended by Bahrain’s Ambassador to the US Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Khalid Humaidan and several officials.
Shaikh Salman highlighted the deep-rooted historical relations and strong strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, built on solid foundations of co-operation across various fields, particularly in financial and economic sectors.
He emphasised the mutual commitment to further advancing ties and enhancing co-operation in ways that support shared aspirations and contribute to growth and development.
