An ‘inclusive’ picnic was recently staged by community groups Juffair Juniors and Special Families Support at Water Garden City in Seef District. Children from both groups interacted and spent a fun day together.
They pledged their support for autism awareness and acceptance by stamping their thumb prints on a collage themed ‘Growing in autism acceptance’.
Parents, guardians and volunteers also attended the event.
Food boxes, sponsored by Tariq Pastries, were distributed to the young attendees.
