A condolence meeting in memory of the late Pope Francis was organised by the Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) at its premises in Segaiya.
KCA president James John reflected on the extraordinary life and mission of the Pope following which a minute of silence was observed and a candle lit with the participation of the attendees.
Indian Ambassador Vinod Jacob was the chief guest and among those present were MP Mohammed Janahi, Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam president P V Radhakrishna Pillai, prominent businessmen and community leaders.
Pope Francis, pontiff since 2013, died aged 88 last week.
