Dusty haze and rising sands are expected to engulf part of Bahrain, with very strong winds predicted for the next several days, the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry has noted in its weather bulletin.
The wind speed could range from 10 to 15 knots, increasing to 17 to 22kt overnight and even reaching 25 to 30kt at times.
In its five-day bulletin, the ministry noted that dusty haze and rising sand in places is expected to continue today.
For tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, the weather is going to be ‘generally fine with rising sand in places.’
