Ali Mohammad Akbar Khan, country head of Mohsin Haider Darwish (MHD), will be honoured at Channel Summit META 2025 for his significant contributions to the consumer technology retail and distribution industry over a 25-year career.
Mr Khan, who previously held senior leadership roles including general manager positions across the Middle East and Africa, was among the first attendees of the DISTREE event in 2005.
Farouk Hemraj, chief executive of ChannelHub, said in a statement that Mr Khan’s “continued leadership and success has been instrumental in shaping the electronics retail sector.”
The award will be presented on Thursday at a Gala Dinner in Abu Dhabi.
The recognition acknowledges Mr Khan’s role in driving growth and fostering business relationships.
