Bahrain welcomed the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, announced by the US, lauding the diplomatic efforts of Saudi Arabia in this regard.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Bahrain emphasised its full support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at establishing lasting peace between the two neighbouring countries.
The kingdom reiterated its commitment to contributing to dialogue and mutual understanding as essential tools for resolving differences and maintaining stability, peace and prosperity in the region and across the wider international community.
