Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi received UK Ambassador Alastair Long. She highlighted the longstanding and strong relations between the two countries across various sectors.
She noted the importance of enhancing youth-related co-operation in line with young people’s aspirations and promoting the exchange of experiences and programmes.
They also reviewed several initiatives and projects implemented by the Youth Affairs Ministry and explored opportunities for further co-operation in the youth sector.
Ms Tawfiqi separately received Mona Al Maaloul, the outgoing Charge d’Affaires at the Tunisian Embassy. She praised the Bahraini-Tunisian relations, particularly in the field of youth affairs and thanked the diplomat for her efforts in strengthening co-operation.
Ms Tawfiqi welcomed Tunisia’s recent accession to the Hope Network, describing it as a meaningful step toward closer Arab collaboration in youth affairs.
