His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. During the meeting, a letter addressed to His Majesty King Hamad from Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev was delivered to HRH Prince Salman by Mr Bayramov.
HRH Prince Salman reaffirmed the shared commitment of Bahrain and Azerbaijan to strengthen relations in line with common aspirations.
He highlighted the progress of co-operation between the two countries and emphasised the importance of expanding multisectoral collaboration to unlock promising opportunities across various sectors to benefit both nations.
The latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were discussed.
Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki also attended the meeting.
