Sri Lankan Ambassador Shanika Dissanayake recently visited the offices of Amad Baeed in Sitra and the Ascon Control office in Askar in order to discuss explore potential trade opportunities between the companies and Sri Lankan manufacturers.
She was accompanied by the Amad Group’s managing director Pambavasan Nair and other officials during her visit. Amad Baeed is a well-established and reputed international group specialised in the supply of electrical and telecommunication products.
Ascon Control is a leading switchgear and panel board manufacturing company. Mr Nair noted that the discussions were insightful and productive, covering various aspects of collaboration, market prospects and strategic partnerships.
The diplomat expressed optimism about fostering strong trade relations between both countries that could lead to mutual economic benefits.
