Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak yesterday participated in a GCC ministerial meeting in Kuwait to discuss joint efforts in municipal development.
He underscored Bahrain’s support for enhancing Gulf co-operation in the municipal field, stressing the importance of aligning efforts under a shared vision that responds to the region’s development priorities and ambitions.
The minister highlighted the strategic role of municipal institutions in promoting sustainable development, boosting economic growth, and enhancing the quality of life across Gulf societies.
He also underscored the importance of continued co-ordination to modernise legislation, improve regulatory oversight, and exchange best practices among GCC states.
