Joyalukkas Group organised events to pay tribute to nurses at hospitals across Bahrain, marking International Nurses Day.
The celebrations, which took place at various hospitals across the country, aimed to recognise nurses’ extraordinary commitment to compassionate care and community wellbeing.
Nurses were presented with tokens of appreciation for the pivotal role they play in Bahrain’s healthcare sector.
Joyalukkas Group managing director John Paul Alukkas reiterated the company’s belief in honouring those who serve society with dignity and devotion.
“Nurses are the silent strength behind every patient’s recovery and comfort,” said Mr Alukkas.
“Their kindness and commitment deserve to be celebrated not just today, but every day.
“We are proud to stand with healthcare professionals through this small gesture.”
The ceremonies reflected the group’s support for healthcare workers and its involvement in various community initiatives, the company said in a statement. International Nurses Day is celebrated annually on May 12.
