Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council Board of Trustees, chaired the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the 25th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Higher Education in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held today in Kuwait.
The meeting covered key topics including mutual recognition of academic qualifications, joint academic programmes, collaboration in specialised scientific research, and digital transformation through e-platforms and electronic libraries in higher education institutions.
Dr. Juma highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to supporting joint Gulf efforts and enhancing educational and research coordination. He also emphasised the importance of advancing the higher education and research system within the GCC, and promoting the exchange of expertise, studies, and best practices to align higher education with the latest international trends.
