Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass has emphasised the strategic importance of economic partnership between Arab countries and Germany in strengthening bilateral relations and developing trade exchange.
He noted that the trade volume between Germany and Arab countries reached 62.1 billion euros in 2023, while the trade volume between Bahrain and Germany amounted to $656 million during the same year.
“This reflects dynamic engagement and sustainable growth in areas of economic co-operation, despite the complex economic and geopolitical challenges currently facing the global economy,” he said on the sidelines of chairing Bahrain Chamber’s delegation at the joint meeting of the executive office and board of directors of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Berlin.
Mr Nass pointed out that these figures confirm the strength of the economic partnership between the two sides and highlight promising opportunities to foster joint investment and trade co-operation in a way that supports regional and international economic stability.
