HIS Majesty King Hamad met UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the King’s residence in Abu Dhabi.
The two leaders reflected on the close ties between Bahrain and the UAE, and the shared commitment to continue advancing co-operation in support of development priorities and sustainable prosperity in both countries.
Both sides also discussed regional developments in the Middle East and international issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE president’s adviser Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan and senior officials from both countries.
The King arrived earlier in the UAE following a visit to the United Kingdom, during which His Majesty met King Charles and attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, the King was received by Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
