Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) board of directors chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa chaired the trust’s board meeting at Riffa Palace yesterday.
Shaikh Isa highlighted the significance of quality education in supporting continued progress, in line with the kingdom’s comprehensive development goals led by His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Isa reaffirmed the importance of fostering strategic partnerships and implementing impactful initiatives that elevate the kingdom’s education sector.
The board reviewed key agenda items, including updates from the investment and property management committee on proposals to expand partnerships with institutions aligned with the trust’s mission to deliver high-quality education to Bahrainis.
He also directed an expansion in the number of scholarship seats offered by the trust for the 2025-2026 academic year to further support students and broaden opportunities for academic achievements.
Shaikh Isa also affirmed the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in delivering new educational opportunities that support the development of the kingdom’s human capital.
