ISA Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman and Labour Fund (Tamkeen) board of trustees chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday attended the 34th graduation ceremony of Ibn Khuldoon National School, held at Exhibition World Bahrain.
He affirmed that the advancement of Bahrain’s education sector is attributed to the support of His Majesty King Hamad, particularly his commitment to preparing the national workforce to contribute to the kingdom’s future.
Shaikh Isa commended the government’s support, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and acknowledged its efforts to enhance the education sector in alignment with clear strategic visions that strengthen the kingdom’s regional and international standing.
He also highlighted the vital role of public and private educational institutions in supporting the education sector, advancing quality education and developing students’ skills.
Shaikh Isa extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates for their outstanding achievements, wishing them success in their future endeavours.
He expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of the board of trustees, administration and teaching and administrative staff at Ibn Khuldoon National School.
During the ceremony, two students were honoured for receiving the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme for 2025: Noor Khalifa Al Khalifa, accepted by Princeton University, and Anas Iyad Rafii, accepted by Purdue University.
In their speeches, they expressed gratitude to HRH Prince Salman for his unwavering support in providing quality educational opportunities that empower Bahrain’s youth to achieve their ambitions.
The ceremony also featured the announcement of two new awards: the Farooq Almoayyed Leadership Award, presented by the Almoayyed family, and the Aisha Excellence Award, presented by the family of late Shaikha Aisha bint Abdulla Al Khalifa, along with a scholarship from the University of Strathclyde Bahrain.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, members of the royal family, senior officials, parents and guests also attended the ceremony.
