THE General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security yesterday warned the public about suspicious email messages impersonating a popular tourism and travel website asking for their banking details or pay for a fake reservation in an attempt to steal the victim’s money.
The directorate advised people to only share personal information with official websites and to always verify the email address before responding.
