His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with HE Steven C. Bondy, the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness affirmed that the longstanding Bahrain-US strategic relationship is founded on mutually beneficial cooperation and a strong record of enduring partnerships.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination, including through agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad also emphasised the importance of further advancing bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and the United States to create promising opportunities that benefit both countries and their peoples.
His Royal Highness underscored the prominent role of the United States, alongside allies, in safeguarding security and stability in the region and around the world.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, exchanged views on issues of common interest, and reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, also attended the meeting.
