His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received the board of the Bahrain Journalists’ Association, led by Isa Al Shaiji, at Safriya Palace on the occasion of the association’s silver jubilee.
His Majesty commended the leading role of Bahraini journalism in serving society and the comprehensive development process.
He highlighted its efforts to promote unity, address national issues, and contribute to cultural and educational progress.
The King expressed appreciation for the credibility, objectivity and professionalism shown by Bahraini journalists in reporting events accurately and defending the kingdom’s interests, security and achievements.
He congratulated the association’s board and members on its silver jubilee, commending the many achievements and successes made over 25 years driven by the efforts of generations of distinguished journalists and media professionals.
His Majesty wished them continued success in advancing journalism, supporting their members and training new talent.
