Alosra Supermarket has reinforced its promise to be ‘Always With You’ through the launch of 10 new convenience stores, strategically located across Bahrain.
This ambitious expansion, under the leadership of the Group chief executive officer, Renato Juric, marks a major milestone in Alosra’s journey, growing from six to 16 stores in just one year.

The premium local retailer has partnered with Bapco Energies, the integrated group leading the energy transition in Bahrain, to launch a new, innovative convenience store concept – Alosra On The Go.
Conveniently located across a number of Bapco Energies’ service stations, this collaboration marks a major step in bringing premium grocery shopping and artisanal café experiences to customers on the move, reflecting Alosra’s commitment to quality, convenience and exceptional customer service.

The partnership is facilitated through Bapco Tazweed, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bapco Energies, and reflects the Group’s strategic vision to diversify its offerings and provide integrated, customer-centric services across its network.
“Each Alosra On The Go location is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of customers on the move, offering not just essential groceries but also a premium, wholesome experience,” said an Alosra spokesperson.
“In addition to Alosra Supermarket’s well-known high quality, at the heart of this new store concept is the co-operation with ‘Artisan’, a new vibrant, homegrown brand making its debut across Bahrain.
“Artisan redefines convenience with a focus on fresh, healthy and delicious food and beverage offerings. The exciting new brand, Artisan, brings a new level of experience, flavour and freshness to Bahrain’s grab-and-go scene.”

The partnership with Bapco Energies marks its first milestone with the launch of Alosra On The Go branches at Diplomatic Area, Diyar Al Muharraq, Hidd and Isa Town service stations, with additional locations planned.
Built on Alosra’s almost four-decade legacy of excellence, this new concept enhances the traditional convenience store model by integrating a curated selection of imported groceries, familiar household essentials and the much-loved Alosra bakery range.

The newly-opened outlet
“We are proud to partner with Bapco Energies and its subsidiary, Bapco Tazweed, on this exciting venture,” said Alosra head Ayachi Jomaa, during the opening ceremony held yesterday in the Diplomatic Area service station.
“Together, we are redefining the convenience experience by merging the quality and care Alosra is known for with the accessibility and efficiency needed in today’s fast-paced world.
“With Alosra On The Go, we are not just closer to our customers, we are truly always with you,” Mr Jomaa added.
Bapco Tazweed chief executive Basema Al Mahroos said the partnership ‘is part of our ongoing efforts to reimagine the service station experience and deliver added value to our customers across Bahrain.’
“By partnering with Alosra, we are creating welcoming spaces that reflect our shared values of innovation and excellence,” Ms Al Mahroos added.
