His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with Taha Mohammed Abdel Qader, the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, HRH highlighted the strong and enduring relations between Bahrain and Palestine, emphasising the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in key areas.
Discussions also covered regional and international developments, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
HRH reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s steadfast position in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people and the two-state solution.
HRH commended Qader for his efforts in advancing Bahrain-Palestine relations, and wished him continued success in his future endeavours.
For his part, Qader expressed his appreciation for HRH’s commitment to enhancing Bahrain-Palestine relations, and extended his best wishes for the Kingdom’s continued progress and prosperity.
Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
