The Bahrain Chamber and the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) are exploring collaboration on commercial dispute settlement, it has emerged.
A delegation, led by Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass, met CBB Governor Khalid Humaidan to introduce the chamber’s Commercial Dispute Settlement Centre. The centre offers an alternative mechanism for resolving business disputes, aiming to accelerate settlements, preserve business relationships, and support a healthy commercial environment.
Mr Nass highlighted the centre’s role in reinforcing Bahrain’s economic stability and integrating dispute settlement into financial procedures to boost confidence and reflect the kingdom’s investment-friendly reforms.
Mr Humaidan welcomed the initiative, expressing the CBB’s openness to collaboration and affirming support for mechanisms that enhance the financial ecosystem’s efficiency.
The Commercial Dispute Settlement Centre, headquartered at the Bahrain Chamber, provides mediation and settlement services for members and external parties, operating under international standards for swift, flexible, and confidential resolution.
