His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Egypt's Ambassador to Bahrain, Riham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the strength of the longstanding Bahrain–Egypt relations, which continue to grow through deepening multisectoral cooperation and a shared commitment to achieving mutual aspirations. These close ties are further strengthened by the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
His Royal Highness also emphasised the importance of expanding avenues of cooperation to enhance Bahrain–Egypt relations.
During the meeting, both sides discussed recent regional and international developments, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
For her part, the Egyptian Ambassador expressed her appreciation for His Royal Highness’s dedication to advancing Bahrain–Egypt relations and wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
