Professor Marike Paulsson, Secretary General of the Council for International Dispute Resolution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, participated in a session titled "The Future of Institutional Arbitration" during London Disputes Week 2025. The panel included Kevin Nash, Director of the London Court of International Arbitration, alongside representatives from Dubai, Qatar, Finland, Madrid, and Sweden.
Professor Paulsson discussed key issues concerning the intersection of sovereignty and international law. She also addressed the evolving relationship between arbitration institutions and users, as well as strategies for managing emerging challenges.
On the sidelines of the event, Professor Paulsson met with the Director of the London Court of International Arbitration to discuss future cooperation, emphasising Bahrain’s commitment to contributing to the global dialogue on the future of arbitration.
