A financial donation was made by the Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company (Basrec) to Bahrain Polytechnic to support the Teaching and Learning Conference (TL2025).
The contribution aims to enhance the efforts of the institute in promoting academic excellence, innovation in teaching practices and knowledge exchange among educational professionals.
Basrec’s human capital and corporate services chief executive and board secretary Narjis Al Moosawi expressed her appreciation for the important role that Bahrain Polytechnic plays in advancing higher education and preparing skilled professionals for the national workforce.
Bahrain Polytechnic chief executive Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin thanked Basrec’s support of the conference.
“The sponsorship of the conference by a leading national company such as Basrec highlights the importance of collaboration between the academic and industrial sectors in supporting the digital transformation of education.
“The conference serves as a key platform for dialogue on the opportunities and challenges artificial intelligence presents to learning environments.”
