Citizens and residents performed Eid Al Adha prayers yesterday at designated prayer halls and mosques.
Mosques across Bahrain proclaimed the traditional Eid takbeers.
In their sermons, preachers reflected on the profound meanings of the occasion, emphasising the values of brotherhood, compassion and love it embodies.
They called for reinforcing commitment to the noble principles of Islam, which promote peace, love and the strengthening of social bonds.
They prayed to Allah Almighty to protect His Majesty King Hamad, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to continue to bless the kingdom and its people with security and safety.
