The first group of Bahraini pilgrims left Mecca yesterday, after completing the Haj rituals.
The last group will depart by air tomorrow.
Bahraini Hajj Mission head Shaikh Adnan Al Qattan affirmed the mission’s keenness to monitor the conditions of returning Bahraini pilgrims, whether via Bahrain International Airport or King Fahad Causeway. He noted the significant efforts made by the authorities to ensure their smooth and easy reception.
Shaikh Adnan commended the efforts made by various authorities in preparation for the return of pilgrims, and the measures and procedures taken to ensure effective co-ordination and smooth flow of the return movement. He emphasised that these efforts reflect the commitment to implementing early plans and preparations aimed at ensuring a smooth and safe return for pilgrims.
Shaikh Adnan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the constant care and attention they give to Bahraini pilgrims, and their keenness to provide all means to ensure they perform the rituals with ease and peace of mind.
Campaigners expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Bahraini Haj Mission, appreciating the level of care and services provided to them.
The Supreme Committee for Haj and Umrah expressed its sincere appreciation to the Bahraini Haj campaigns for their co-operation and effective co-ordination throughout all stages of this year’s Haj season.
The committee highlighted the importance of joint preparations and constructive engagement with the approved plans from an early stage, which played a pivotal role in ensuring smooth procedures and the successful organisation of travel and arrangements for Bahraini pilgrims.
The committee affirmed that providing the best possible services to enable pilgrims to perform the Haj rituals with ease and peace of mind remains the ultimate goal of all organisational measures, contributing to an enhanced and comfortable experience for pilgrims, and reflecting the true spirit of this sacred pillar of Islam.
Clinics in Mina and Arafat dealt efficiently with health cases.
Bahrain Haj Mission head of medical committee Dr Ibrahim Farouk Obaid affirmed that the mission’s clinics in Mina and Arafat dealt with the health cases they received with high efficiency, providing urgent medical care within an integrated system aimed at ensuring the safety and comfort of pilgrims while performing the rituals.
He explained that the medical clinic in Mina received a number of cases, ranging from heat stress, fatigue, high blood pressure, and other health conditions, and that they were dealt with immediately.
