The King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance, in collaboration with the Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia, organised a workshop for tourist guides at the cathedral’s premises in Awali.
The event brought together Bishop Aldo Berardi, Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia; Father Saji Thomas; Father Nicholson; Father Charbel Fayad, pastor of the Arab community in Bahrain; and Mona George, representing the Centre, along with tourist guides from various nationalities.

Bishop Berardi expressed his deep appreciation to the King Hamad Global Centre for organising the workshop, commending its ongoing initiatives to foster a cohesive society built on mutual respect and understanding among different cultures and religions.
Participants expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of Bahrain’s values of pluralism, coexistence, and tolerance. They praised the workshop’s rich educational and cultural content, affirming Bahrain’s reputation as a beacon of religious diversity and cultural openness.
