A top minister has stressed the importance of monitoring service projects in the health and education sectors to ensure they are carried out in a manner that meets citizens’ needs and supports the development of vital sectors directly related to the public.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa made the remarks as he visited the Health and the Education Ministries yesterday, in line with implementation of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The visit was also part of the follow-up on the fourth edition of the Unified Framework for Priority Government Programmes, approved by the Cabinet and supervised by the Government Executive Committee chaired by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
It represents a strategic approach aimed at directing efforts and resources towards programmes and initiatives that primarily benefit citizens, as they are the focus and goal of development.
Shaikh Isa was accompanied by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki, and a number of senior officials.
He reviewed the progress of health and education projects that are part of the Unified Framework of Priority Government Programmes, that reflect the government’s commitment to enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
The Prime Minister’s Court Minister stressed the importance of continuing to implement government programmes in an institutional manner and through clear mechanisms and strict follow-up processes. “This is instrumental in enhancing performance efficiency and raising the level of services to citizens,” he said.
The Health and Education Ministers affirmed their commitment to implement the visions of His Majesty, and the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding health and education services that meet citizens’ aspirations and needs, both now and in the future.
They also expressed their appreciation to the Prime Minister’s Court Minister for his visit to their ministries, and for his keenness and interest in supporting the achievement of the desired goals.
