THE Coastguard conducted a joint maritime inspection campaign in co-ordination with security and government agencies as part of ongoing efforts to maintain security and enhance maritime safety.
The campaign aimed to monitor and address violations related to maritime safety, ensure that boat operators and vessels comply with licensing regulations, and inspect the status of undocumented foreign workers.
It also involved checking private marine transport companies that provide passenger services to verify their adherence to existing laws and regulations.
The inspection covered several key maritime areas, with operations conducted according to carefully developed security plans.
The campaign resulted in the identification of a number of observations and violations, which are currently being reviewed with the concerned authorities.
The goal is to enhance procedures and raise awareness among seafarers and boat owners, contributing to improved maritime safety and creating a secure environment for all sea users.
The Coastguard reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such initiatives in collaboration with all relevant partners, ensuring that Bahrain’s waters remain safe and compliant with national regulations.
