His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received several members of the Supreme Defence Council yesterday to review the latest developments in the region.

Bahrain’s firm stance was emphasised – calling for the resolution of crises through dialogue and diplomatic means, the continuation of US-Iran nuclear negotiations, and the urgent need to bring an end to the regional conflict in the interest of all peoples of the region.
The King commended the role of all entities concerned within the Supreme Defence Council and their ongoing dedication to fulfilling their responsibilities in safeguarding the kingdom, protecting its achievements, and ensuring the security of citizens and residents.
Bahrain condemned the Israeli attack targeting Iran, warning of its grave repercussions on regional security and stability. It called for de-escalation, restraint and a reduction in tensions.
The Foreign Ministry in a statement underscored Bahrain’s call for an immediate halt to military escalation to spare the region and its people from the consequences on regional stability, security and international peace.
It expressed the kingdom’s firm stance advocating for the resolution of crises through dialogue and diplomatic means, as well as the necessity of continuing US-Iranian negotiations regarding the Iranian nuclear file. It also emphasised the importance of ending this regional conflict for the benefit of all the peoples of the region.
BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi chaired a meeting of the Joint Security Committee yesterday. The officials reviewed mechanisms to enhance co-operation and integration among Bahrain’s military and security entities, with the aim of strengthening field co-ordination and joint operations.
