Solidarity Bahrain, Bahrain's leading insurance company, announced the appointment of Hala Farouk Almoayyed and Fawaz Fuad Kanoo to its board of directors. The new board members bring decades of leadership experience and diverse industry knowledge, supporting the company's continued growth and strategic aspirations. Hala Almoayyed has become the first female member of the company's board, marking a historic milestone in Solidarity Bahrain's journey towards inclusive governance.
She currently serves as the vice-chairperson of Almoayyed International Group, in addition to her directorships in various companies covering multiple sectors.
With diverse expertise and more than 20 years in various sectors, she is widely recognized for her ability to build long-term strategic partnerships, drive sustainable business growth, and successfully lead transformations to enhance productivity, expand market share, and increase profitability.
Fawaz Kanoo, a prominent Bahraini executive and investor with extensive experience in the automotive, industrial, and technology sectors, brings a track record of leadership and achievement, along with broad industry knowledge.
He currently holds senior executive and board positions in several leading companies under the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Group leading operational transformations and regional expansion across the GCC.
His appointment to the Board is anticipated to offer an elevated level of strategic foresight and executive experience that will help shape and strengthen the Company’s long-term strategic direction.
