Gamezop, a leading gamification platform, has announced a $4 million investment for its expansion into the Middle East, establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary in Bahrain.
The India-headquartered company, which aims to become a key gamification layer for major apps in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), said the investment will accelerate operations, facilitate local hiring, and explore potential acquisitions.
Supported by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), Gamezop plans to leverage its new Bahrain hub as a gateway to the region's burgeoning digital landscape.
The company enables apps and websites to integrate games, boosting user engagement and generating shared advertising revenue.
Founded in 2016 by Yashash and Gaurav Agarwal, Gamezop's expansion aligns with its global growth strategy, with further markets expected.
From its Bahrain base, Gamezop aims to onboard over 1,000 new app and website partners and double its group revenue within the next 18 months.
