The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with HE HeonSang Koo, the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness affirmed that bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Korea continue to advance across all levels, underpinned by a shared commitment to deepening cooperation across a wide-range of sectors.
His Royal Highness the Deputy King underscored the importance of further advancing the existing partnership to create new opportunities that serve the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the Ambassador’s efforts in strengthening Bahrain–South Korea cooperation and wished His Excellency Koo continued success in his future endeavours.
Regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.
For his part, HE Koo expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-South Korea relations and wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
