The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with HE Steven C. Bondy, the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the historic relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, which spans multiple sectors and is underpinned by a shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties.
His Royal Highness the Deputy King noted that Bahrain and the United States share a strong record of strategic partnerships, reinforced by joint agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which has significantly contributed to greater cooperation between the two countries.
His Royal Highness the Deputy King also underscored the pivotal role of the United States, alongside partners, in upholding security and stability — key pillars in advancing sustainable development.
In addition, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, also attended the meeting.
