Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday met US Ambassador Steven Bondy at Riffa Palace.
He highlighted the historic relationship between Bahrain and the United States, which spans multiple sectors and is underpinned by a shared commitment to further strengthening ties.
HRH the Deputy King noted that Bahrain and the US share a strong record of strategic partnerships, reinforced by joint agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which has significantly contributed to greater co-operation between the two countries.
He also underscored the pivotal role of the US, alongside partners, in upholding security and stability – key pillars in advancing sustainable development.
In addition, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
